Mera Baker Ramos
General Counsel
Mera Baker Ramos serves as General Counsel of Blueprint, leading the organization’s legal function and advising its executive leadership and Board of Directors on strategic, transactional, governance, compliance, and risk-management matters. She oversees all legal aspects of Blueprint’s nation-wide facility development projects, investments, lending activities, and strategic partnerships.
With more than a decade of legal experience in real estate finance and development, Mera brings deep expertise in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex real estate and financing transactions. Her work includes real estate acquisitions and development, construction and permanent financing, commercial leasing, and the preparation and negotiation of loan, investment, and other transaction documents. She also advises Blueprint on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial contracts.
Before entering the legal profession, Mera was an award-winning high school mathematics teacher in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mera received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, her Master’s in Education from Christian Brothers University, and her Juris Doctorate from USC Gould School of Law. She is also an alumnus of the USC Ross Minority Program in Real Estate.
