Project Overview

Blueprint partnered with Lotus School for Excellence to support the expansion of its Aurora campus and deliver a thoughtfully designed learning environment for early elementary students. The project was delivered in Fall 2026, enabling the school to serve up to 400 PK–3rd grade students beginning in the 2026–27 school year.

Located in Aurora, Colorado on an approximately six-acre campus, the project integrates new construction while preserving existing buildings and the on-site soccer field. At the heart of the project is a 31,000-square-foot, stand-alone building that is designed to include 19 classrooms, a multipurpose room with commercial kitchen, a makerspace, dedicated student support spaces, administrative offices, and lab space—all tailored to support young learners and school staff.

In addition to the new building, the project included key site improvements to enhance safety, circulation, and connectivity across the campus. These improvements included expansion of the site’s detention pond, along with updated parking and circulation to better link the new facility with the existing parking lot and artificial turf field.

The facility will provide Lotus School for Excellence with the infrastructure needed to grow its mission and serve Aurora students and families for years to come.
