Proposition 2 Awards Announced
Congratulations to all California schools that received funding through the Proposition 2 School Facilities Program. These awards will support the construction, modernization, and improvement of educational facilities that will benefit students and communities across the state for years to come.
We are especially proud to congratulate Green Dot Public Schools, Alpha Public Schools, KIPP Public Schools Northern California, and Yu Ming Charter School, which Blueprint supported throughout the Proposition 2 application process. Working alongside school leaders, districts, consultants, and project partners, we helped these schools navigate program requirements and assemble competitive applications.
While the Proposition 2 application process has now concluded, Blueprint’s work continues. We look forward to supporting schools that received awards as they move into project planning, design, construction, and modernization phases. Successfully securing funding is only the beginning. Delivering high-quality educational facilities requires ongoing coordination, project management, and collaboration to bring these investments to life.
Supporting Schools Beyond the Award
Blueprint remains committed to helping schools maximize the impact of their Proposition 2 funding. As projects move forward, we will continue partnering with schools and districts to navigate the challenges that come with facility development, including planning, implementation, stakeholder coordination, and long-term project success.
Our goal is simple: helping schools transform funding awards into safe, modern, and inspiring learning environments for students.
Historical Context: Building on Decades of School Facilities Experience
Blueprint’s Proposition 2 work builds on more than two decades of experience helping charter schools.
Under Proposition 51, our team helped secure more than $200 million in state funding for Bay Area district sites, ultimately completing nine projects. In Southern California, Blueprint completed an additional seven projects funded through Proposition 51 and earlier state bond programs.
These projects provided invaluable experience navigating complex state funding programs, coordinating with districts and state agencies, and managing facility projects through completion. The lessons learned from these successful efforts enabled Blueprint to effectively support schools pursuing Proposition 2 funding opportunities.
Looking Ahead
We congratulate all Proposition 2 award recipients on this important milestone and look forward to seeing these projects take shape across California.
